The centre provides assessment, training and resources for individuals with and those associated with, living and learning difficulties. Focuses mainly on specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dyspraxia and other autistic spectrum disorders such as Asperger's Syndrome and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.  The Centre is also engaged in extensive research activities in these areas.
