Mrs Nanette Lindsey Towers

I live in central Morpeth and have been a registered childminder for five years. In July 2015 I was graded outstanding by Ofsted. I welcome children into my home and offer a safe and stimulating environment in which I encourage and guide children to reach their full potential. I have a large selection of toys for the children to play with. Music and reading play a big part in our day as do craft based activities. We regularly have cookery sessions quite often linked to our weekly themes and topics. I live in a large terraced house and we use the whole of the downstairs allowing the children space to choose their own activities. I have a large encosed garden to the rear with a wooden playhouse whenver weather permits we take our learning and play outdoors. I take the children to the park, toddler grops and soft play. However we also have regular visits to museums, castles, beaches. local stately homes and other exciting places. I work closely and in partnership with parents to ensure that the needs of each individual child are met and that they meet their age appropriate learning targets.  I now deliver Funded Entitlement for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.  Please contact me for further information.

Notes
I can offer a large friendly family home. I have a large front room, which is a playroom with a rotation of toys. There is also a kitchen in which we eat and use as our craft room; we do lots of painting, drawing and modelling. I have a quiet room in which we have a lot of books and musical instruments. Outside is an enclosed play area with sand and water and a large playhouse. We do a lot of themed activity days such as looking at different cultures and special occasions. We regularly play in the local park and visit the library once a week. During school holidays we have days out to local museums and country homes and castles, these tie in with our themed activity weeks.
